Foot Clocks – Wake up your sleepy glutes

by Dr Rangan Chatterjee   /  December 21, 2017

MOVEMENT 3 – FOOT CLOCKS

The is the third movement in a series of 4 movements that are outlined in the ‘Wake up your sleepy glutes’ section in my bestselling book, The Four Pillar Plan

The first two movements in the series can be seen here: ‘Flex on a Step‘ and ‘Hip Adduction

This particular movement, Foot Clocks, engages the relationships between your foot, knee and hip – three structures that your glutes are strongly connected to. It also helps to identify ‘dark spaces’ in your movement patterns: movements that the brain is not used to making. It is only by moving into these spaces that you can begin to reawaken pathways in your brain that have gone to sleep.

Do let me know on social media how you get on with this movement using the hashtag #sleepyglutes and #the4pillarplan

The final movement in this series can be seen here: 3D Hip Extension
